The Phalanx is a frontline riot bot engineered to control chokepoints and hold the line under pressure. Its heavy riot cannon has high AoE and can push units around, making it perfect for blunting pushes.

Phalanx's effective HP is more than listed, due to ablative armor plates that reduce all damage by two thirds until the plates are broken, which is visually represented on the unit as armor vanishing entirely. After several seconds, these shields will return.

Maneuver damaged Phalanxes back from combat for repairs and time to recover their shields.
