Gremlin is a stealthy tank equipped with light plasma weapon. It doesn’t stand a chance facing other T2 units with it's weak armor and a low rate of fire.
Gremlins' cloak + stealth combo makes them impossible to spot without an Intrusion Countermeasure System. It will however decloak if it gets too close to an enemy.
Be mindful of its energy consumption when cloaked (-5), especially while moving (-20).
Useless as a direct combat unit, it's far better as a cloaked scout and spotter for Mausers / Starlights.
Small groups can sabotage bases by sneaking in and targeting key buildings such as an Anti-Nuke or Fusion Reactor. Aim for volatile buildings to trigger chain reactions and cripple entire bases.
Gremlins are very good at assassinating (unaware) Commanders.
Without the enemy Commander using his D-gun, 4-6 gremlins will likely pull off a Commander kill.
Use packs of 4-6 Gremlins to sneak in beyond enemy defense lines, get intel on plans and sabotage the economy.
