The Cataphract is an experimental hovertank, equipped with a high-velocity cannon and significant armor. Its main gun deals 750 damage with 4.5s reload, and costs 500 energy per shot.
Although it’s not very fast, the ability to hover makes it useful for attacking from the sea.
While not as strong as other experimental units, Cataphracts can reliably defeat Cruisers with their superior range, power, and immunity to depth charges.
Their secondary anti-sub weapon (400 range, 225 damage) lets them kill submerged units without getting hit in turn.
