The Beamer is a turret that fires a continuous high-intensity laser beam. Beamers rank solidly above Sentries vs. light units, but below Overwatch and pop-up turrets for mid-range and anti-swarm capability respectively. They particularly excel vs. light tanks with their combination of DPS and armor.

Use them to outrange rocket bots and light laser turrets.

Beamers are taller than Sentries and can fire over obstructions more easily—even fortification walls.‍

Like Sentries, they can also be picked up and moved by heavy air transports.
