Digitized personas constructed from the accumulated records of the dead, combining combat telemetry, technical knowledge, personal logs, civic records, and neural pathways into a single consultative voice, preserved by Cortex society. First created in the early 2800's by isolated colonists cut off from central coordination during the Fracturing Epoch, Chorials emerged as a means of preserving continuity and, with time, became a cornerstone of the Cortex pillar of Memory.
