Log Begins

Tenebrium reserves are gone. The drive went dark first, dropping us here before the moon’s gravity dragged us into orbit.  We kept enough T for comms, but hadn’t gotten a response in 4 cycles, so we burned it all for a final burst transmission. It’s been 19 cycles since. No responses.
My grandparents took the memory of Pluto and the dream of freedom when they first sailed into the stars.  Now we follow in their footsteps, stepping out of the shadow of Sol’s greed. Those bastards have been taking for five hundred years and still don’t have enough. They take people, planets, systems, and still want our 'brium. But they aren't getting it. We pulled all of the T on the colony into the Light Labor, and started burning.
Supposedly they say there’s an abundance of T where the damn All-Fathers are dragging everyone, so we’re headed the other direction. We took our chances on the path, following the horizon, and even if we aren’t found, at least we die free. Those bastards can rot in space like they rotted on Terra.
We’re locked in orbit, so we'll have to synth more T over the next year to keep moving. Maybe we can leave this entire galaxy behind us.
